Statements Even though my influences from previous and current masters mainly lean towards Abstract Expressionism I find it important to field the expressionistic personalities, of my work, through the conditioning of the human form. Not to adapt to figurative, per se, but to multiply the colorings with the expressive features of the form and features. The levels of hedonistic paint application alter to adhere to the adaption of 2 dimensional structural emotions.

The figure may be central but not focal. One does not need to rely on the figures to control the overall shape and contrast of the painting. Although it does hold a certain amount of influence to the general form, including a challenging majority of emotional capacity.

My works usually hold a strong undercurrent of social dimensions. The varying levels of society today give an amazing amount of comparative issues. Looking through a small cross section of one country one is able to view considerable quantities of different views to the same social issue. This is due to the increasing ability for every person to have their say in the public domain.
